In an effort to better serve you, the Missouri League for Nursing has been working on developing a learning management system to offer you ONLINE CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES, 24/7.   Unfortunately, our host company is in the process of moving and relocating their servers, which has resulted in a delay in launching MLN’s MeLearNing system.

 

We have developed an alternative method for you to access the MeLearNing system until we can launch our automated system. If you would like to obtain CE hours via one of our online courses, please call our office at

573-635-5355 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to register.  A member of the MLN staff will process your registration which will give you access to the online course(s) you wish to purchase.  Once you are registered, you may login to take the class at any time.  NOTE:  These courses are also available in CD format.  Please contact the MLN office at 573-635-5355 for arrangements to receive one or all of these courses in CD format.

  • Delegation for Health Care Professionals (1 A clock/contact hour) *
  • Medication Errors (1 A clock/contact hour) *
  • Restraints Reconsidered (1 PC clock/contact hour) *
  • Communication and the Health Care Team (1 A clock/contact hour)
  • Delegation in Nursing Practice (1 contact hour)
  • Ethics in Health Care Settings: Everyday Principles (2 A clock/contact hours)
  • Professional Demeanor (2 A clock/contact hours)

(Those indicated with an asterisk are available immediately; all others are in the process of being added.)

 

Member rate for online courses is $30 per credit hour and nonmember rate is $50 per credit hour.  When you call in to register, you will be asked to provide your contact information including e-mail address.  Your e-mail address will be your USER NAME.  You will be asked to select a PASSWORD.  (Note: You may change your password at any time; however if you change it, we will not be able to retrieve it.)  Payment can be made via MasterCard or Visa.  MLN will e-mail you a confirmation along with the link to login for the course(s).  You will enter your USER NAME and PASSWORD to access the MeLearNing system and will have access to the course(s) you have purchased to be used anytime, at your convenience.

 

To begin a course, click on the link e-mailed to you after registration.  Enter your “user name” and “password” to “Login.”  Click on “My Courses” to view course(s) purchased.  “Launch” your selected course and begin MeLearNing.  In order to complete the course, you must receive a passing score of 75% or higher on the test.  A certificate will then be e-mailed to you within two business days.
