STRATEGIC PLAN 2004-2006

GOAL 1: Develop and implement organizational structure that promotes future growth consistent with MLN’s mission.

Strategies:

a. Establish an environment/structure that enhances and promotes research, planning, and

development.

b. Establish Mechanisms to Provide for Financial Stability

c. Advance the organization through the use of an analytical methodology for a

comprehensive evaluation of the MLN.

Goal 2: Explore and facilitate use of technology to advance education, information, and collaboration for health care professionals.

Strategies:

a. Utilize technology to facilitate the advancement of education for health care professionals.
b. Utilize technology to enhance the delivery of health care information.
c. Enhance collaboration through the use of technology.

Goal 3: Expand programs and services for health care professionals

Strategies:

a. Collaborate with other agencies (CE’s for allied groups, programming and

community service).

b. Explore additional benefits/services for members.

c. Explore solutions for improving the work environment/workforce for health care

professionals.
